Table Top Dishwasher Information

October 6th, 2009
Specification and feature information of each Table Top Dishwasher available out there proved to be quite a challenge to come across on the internet, especially which are most preferred by other consumers. In my quest to get as informed as possible about these countertop dishwashers before making a decision, I have compiled lots of information regarding the most popular models available on the internet into a tabular format.

I will also try to include the stores which seem to have the lowest prices on these items (pre-shipping). Maybe if I dedicate a bit more time in the future I can add more information to these tables.

The table is more or less straight forward and the information provided here comes from the manufacturers except prices, user ratings and where to buy, of course. The flags under the pictures indicate where the specific brand is available, USUSflag or UKUKflag. Under the Other Features column, there is a link to the user manual for each table top dishwasher model. So far, Amazon seems to have very competitive pricing on the US models, so I’ve put their link up. As time goes by, I would definitely like to add more links as well, so look out for updates.

I hope this table helps all those who read it and of course if you like it, Share it with a friend!

Several comparisons between different Brands of Table Top Dishwashers

What To Look For In Compact Washers & Dryers

May 19th, 2010

The world is getting more and more crowded with people in the larger cities around the world. Australia’s population has tripled in just my lifetime which is pretty scary really. No wonder I have moved myself and my cat back into a regional country area.

In 1935 Australia’s population was just over 7 million. Today in 2010 the population is just over 21 million and growing faster than may be sustainable for such a dry country; but we all must depend on our Scientists to advise ways to manage water, energy and housing so we can accept more new Australians. Water, housing and sufficient energy resources are three prime concerns for most Australians today. Read the rest of this entry »

Dishwasher Recycling

January 12th, 2010

A major concern for many consumers is recycling of their household items. This is no different for dishwasher owners. How recyclable is a dishwasher? As with everything else it depends on what the item is made of and proximity of recycling plants. People are not going to spend a huge sum of money to send their used items to a recycling plant if it is located too far away or there is no system in place to get these items to the plant. This is why it is important to find a plant closest to you. Read the rest of this entry »

Table top dishwasher – Makes an Excellent Christmas Gift for Family

December 15th, 2009

I realized how nice it would be if someone gave me a table top dishwasher as a gift, rather than I shop for one myself. It would have certainly made my life much easier, and that’s what I call a gift.

Don’t get me wrong, not everyone is going to dip into their pockets and get someone else a dishwasher. Read the rest of this entry »

Dishwasher Sanitization

December 1st, 2009

Table top dishwashers, or as a matter of fact, most (if not all) household dishwashers are not capable of complete sterilization of your dishes. Commercial dishwashers used in restuarants may come pretty close by using sanitization methods that household models do not employ.

Household dishwashers usually heat the water to 75°C in the last rinse cycle which can kill quite a few micro-organisms but does not sterilize the dishes. Read the rest of this entry »

Using Your Table Top Dishwasher Below the Counter Top

November 24th, 2009

Okay, so I read this comment on someone else’s blog recently and could not comment on it there, unfortunately. This person stated that any dishwasher, including a table top dishwasher can be placed below your kitchen counter. This is not true. Read the rest of this entry »

BOSCH SKT5102GB English Manual?

November 20th, 2009

It has been extremely difficult to find an english manual for the Bosch SKT5102GB. In fact, it is possibly close to impossible. The only manuals I’ve found were Czech (cs), Danish (da), Norwegian (no), Swedish (sv) and Finnish (fi). No English! *sigh*

I have tried numerous methods to translate the text within these manuals but, in my opinion, they are far from perfect. I will post some options here Read the rest of this entry »

Table Top Dishwasher – The New Kitchen Fad?

November 18th, 2009

Well according to my research, the business magazines did point out a dramatic increase in spending towards Table Top or Countertop Dishwashers. One article actually said that it was unexpected in this present time of recession.

What has caused this upsurge in table top dishwashers? Will it be as popular as a microwave oven in the coming age? Read the rest of this entry »

Table Top / Countertop Dishwasher and Confusion

November 16th, 2009

For those who are not sure what the difference is:

A Table Top Dishwasher and a Countertop Dishwasher are the same thing. I’ve noticed the former used more in Great Britain and the later in USA.

Some folks call the Table Top or Countertop Dishwasher a Portable Dishwasher. By portability, it can be considered as such but Read the rest of this entry »
